    I totally agree with this. It makes it worse when you are traveling too because then you are stuck eating all your meals with family for days. At least that is what it is like for us. And nobody is stuffing food down my throat, but they aren't serving anything particularly healthy either ahhh, holidays.

    So true, and I hate when I find myself munching on stuff that isn't that good, just because its there. I'm trying to be more mindful, but like you said, not easy!

    Eek, I kinda disappeared for a bit. Sorry! Not on purpose, life has just been getting in the way of logging This weeks workouts, briefly:

    Monday-rest. No good reason. I actually overslept because we put our winter blankets on the bed and it was way too cozy to get up. Pathetic, huh?

    Tuesday- 45 min cardio at the gym
    Wednesday- Non-NROLW lifting, about 50 min
    Thursday- 50 min cardio
    Friday- rest. feeling yucky.
    Today- feeling better! Workout:

    I'm planning a rest day tomorrow because: (1) I'm not sure I'll be able to walk after all those lunges and (2) if I can walk, we are going Christmas shopping!

    Today: sleep-in FAIL. ugh.

    Planning lifting and cardio for tomorrow, followed by more shopping. Then we are spending the weekend with the in-laws and I am seeing the ballet with my MIL. Going to try to keep calories low this weekend, since my exercise has been pretty lame this week.

    I always love the idea of the ballet or the symphony. The reality is that I really don't like sitting still for a longer period of time. Hope that you enjoyed yourself.

    Thanks guys!! I enjoyed it. I don't go a lot, so its something different. I don't know much about dance, but I really like to look at the costumes.


    I know it seems like I've disappeared again. I had a week of setbacks last week. First, something was weird with my foot. The top of it ached. It has done this a little over the past few months, but it wouldn't usually last. So, I took a few days rest from working out (which made me very grumpy). It feels much better. It is time for new shoes and I plan to get them after the holidays, so I think that should help. Then, once my foot had recovered I gave myself a concussion by accidentally banging my head against the pantry wall while putting away groceries. Yeah, I know. Who does that? Ugh. So I felt awful for two additional days and didn't exercise. Ultimately, I had 3 below average workouts last week.

    But I'm back! Today I did an hour of cardio at the gym (elliptical and bike). Sunday's workout:

    Hello! Yes, I'm in...I've just been lame about updating my log lately. I need to get back to it, but I'm leaving for vacation in two days so it will just be abandoned for another week I've been working out and eating pretty well, but nothing really exciting.

    Does anyone know how to change my log title from "fall challenge" to something more appropriate? Sorry if that is a really stupid question.

    I think any mod can change it, but not totally sure. It might have to be JP, as in, Jean Paul, the owner of this forum. Anyway, you could try PMing a mod about it. Lost Dog seems to be the most-mentioned mod; but there are more.
