Jean-Paul Francoeur: From his base on the 29th floor of the Metropolitan Tower in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jean-Paul Francoeur has built a thriving personal-training business, as well as a burgeoning online fitness community at jpfitness.com.

Strength-training enthusiasts from all over the country attend his annual  Fitness Summit, and his message boards are manned by some of the nation's most respected exercise experts, including strength coaches Robert dos Remedios, Bill Hartman, and Alwyn Cosgrove; journalists and authors Adam Campbell and Lou Schuler; archeologist and diet expert John K. Williams, Ph.D.; and Francoeur himself.

History: Jean-Paul has been training athletes and people from all walks of life since he was 19. He has been featured in Parade Magazine twice, as well as in USA Today. He's a fixture on local television, where he's the go-to guy for any story dealing with fitness issues, and hosted a health and fitness show in 2005 called, Healthy Living with JP, on Comcast Cable. As a freelance writer, he's been published in Men's Health and numerous strength-focused magazines and websites.

He was a top fitness advisor to former Governor, Mike Huckabee during the governor’s well-publicized weight loss (garnering an acknowledgement in his best-seller, Stop Digging Your Grave with a Knife and Fork), and served as chairman of the Arkansas Governor's Council on Fitness for nearly eight years, as well as sitting on over a half-a-dozen other boards and committees (local, statewide, and national) dedicated to improving public health.

It is this wonderful culmination of knowledge and experiences that sets Francoeur apart from others in the industry, and continues to promote the growth of his business as one of the top fitness authorities in Arkansas and beyond.
