    Need a new metabolic

So we're nearly finished with the second phase of the NROLA program and we just can't handle burpees any more. I personally hate them, but could continue with them. My partner has had to stop because they are killing her knees. Specifically the motion where she brings her feet back under her after hitting the plank position. Could anyone or perhaps one of the authors suggest a different metabolic with which to finish the last few weeks that doesn't require a butt-to-heels level squat?

I've recently added jumping rope at the end of my work outs, while i am still trying to figure out this whole "met con" thing. I like it because it also improves agility, timing and coordination. (At least for me, but the bar on those attributes is pretty low for me!)

Ah, jumping rope! Haven't done that in years! I think I'll give that one a go, thanks.

I started doing the kettlebell swings and burpees this week. I didn't have any real problems with them. I thought "not using the shoulders" would be a problem with the swings but it feels like all core.
For "fun" I alternated burpees and swings and did a 20 minute metabolic workout. I burnt about 325 calories in 20 minutes.
